First signs of an artistic calling appeared on family holidays to the north Norfolk coast in England during the early 1970s, this really took off photographically in the early 1980's when I sold my first picture of the little fishing port of Port de La Selva to Catalan Villas; this family-run travel company used the image for their brochure cover for the next three years.

In the mid-1980's I went on to study Photography, Film and Television at Plymouth College of Art and Design which introduced to the wonderful world of animation.This new direction had initially been inspired by my work experience at the Walt Disney Studios in Sydney while on a round-the-world trip, 9 months of which were spent in Australia and New Zealand. My love for the natural world and landscape photography was shaped by the stunning and dramatic scenery in Australia, the United States, Canada and particularly in New Zealand. The natural world has been one of the main driving forces in my photography for some time while pursuing a career in the animation world for 10 to 15 years.

In recent years commissioned work for hotels and travel brochures in Cyprus, Turkey and Egypt has enabled me to produce more personal work in the United States.
